Hello parents and guardians! This week, we return to normal. Math: We are learning some different methods of how to add. Students will be able to practice whichever method makes the most sense to them until they become fluent and obtain correct answers. Eventually, we hope to have addition facts memorized, but this is a good first step! Reading: We have a new unit. See the attached note that I sent home yesterday (Nov. 6th) to see what we are learning there! Exploration: We are beginning our Diversity unit. We will learn about diversity within our classroom, within Montana/the United States, and then we will learn about World Diversity by looking at holidays around the world! Students will receive passports that they can get stamped when we learn about each country (that will likely start next week). Have a great week! Ms. Carroll
